Original show description:Drums Face Rat Race Flyer

While experiencing the chaotic life of London, two friends got together to form a theatre company - Just Add Water

Using physical theatre, dance, music and a range of influences from, 'Baryshnikov' to 'Berkoff' to 'Stomp', they have produced: Drums, Face, Rat Race

Everyday urban conflict shown at high speeds, mechanically and in spectacular slow motion

Review for company’s Edinburgh Fringe debut production:

“Churning up the soul with a pulsating beat, examining the daily pointless slog of our existence, slowing down movement to robotic jerks; we see how machine-like we have become. Distance between people is shown through a desperate inability to make contact. Aspects of our lives are ripped apart in glorious satire; we see our world as a constant battle between people or against society. Each performer demonstrates their point with remarkable strength and agility.”

“Intriguing as it is confusing, and those looking for something slightly off the beaten track would benefit from giving it a chance”

“Comic and mesmeric”

“It may be baffling, but it is enjoyably so, as the delighted puzzlement in the bar afterwards attested. I think this may be a show I'll still be mulling over long after the Fringe has moved on”

“Aspects of our lives are ripped apart in glorious satire”

“Coming across as something between cabaret, sketch show comedy, improvisation, dance and story-telling”
